Since her ascension to the throne on
February 6, 1952, Queen Elizabeth II has met all U.S. Presidents with the
exception of Lyndon B. Johnson. She actually would have met President Johnson
during the funeral of President John F. Kennedy but was pregnant with her third
son, Edward, and was unable to make the trip.
Before her coronation she also met former President Herbert Hoover and President Harry Truman. President Truman is the only U.S president to have met the Queen while she was still a Princess back in 1951.
